Pai
Gow Poker
Dimensions: 7' x 4' - Playing Positions: 6
A standard
52 card deck with one Joker is used. The Joker may be used
as an Ace, or to complete a Straight, Flush or Straight Flush.
The dealer will deal out 7 hands with 7 cards each. Each hand
is split into two separate hands, one with 5 cards and one
with 2 cards. The 5-Card (High, Bottom or Back) Hand must
be stronger, rank higher, than the 2-Card (Low, Top or Front)
Hand. For instance, if there are 2 Pairs, the higher Pair
must stay in the High Hand and the lower Pair may be set in
Front. After all of the Players have set their hands, the
Dealer will show and set the Dealer Hand. The PlayersŐ hands
are shown in turn. Each Player's 2-Card Hand will be compared
with the DealerŐs 2-Card Hand; then the 5-Card Hands will
be compared. The Player must win both hands to win the bet.
If the Player wins one and loses the other, it is a Push.
If the Player loses both hands, they will lose their bet.
Identical hands are "Copies" and are counted as
a loss for the Player. When the Player wins, they will be
paid Even Money less a 5% commission.

Gow Tiles
Dimensions: 7' x 4' - Playing Positions: 6
There
are 32 dominoes used in Pai Gow, which are mixed or shuffled
by the dealer. The dominoes are placed in eight stacks of
four each. The Player/Dealer and up to seven players are dealt
one stack (four dominoes). The object of the game is to set
the dominoes into two hands (front and back, two dominoes
per hand) for the best ranking combination. If they are lower,
the Player/Dealer wins. When the Player/Dealer and players
have the same ranking combinations, the Player/Dealer is the
winner. The value of each tile does not follow a particular
numerical or color sequence, but is determined according to
a Chinese symbolic system. Every tile has a corresponding
'twin' 11 of which are 'identical twins'. The other five pairs
do not look alike but have the same number of dots and the
same ranking value. After all the players have set their hands,
the Player/Dealer hand is opened, set, and compared against
each player's hand individually as in Pai Gow Poker.
