One hour before
your Casino opens, your Casino Manager, Senior Dealers and Senior
Slot Attendants will arrive to help finalize the structure of the
evening. You will go over Casino times, Scrip, Re-buys for a fundraiser,
Cash-out and Awarding Prizes. The dealers will arrive a half-hour
before the Casino opens.
 |
When your
players come into 4S Lets Play Party Casino, they will receive Scrip: a Casino
note in denominations from 10 to 1000. At a fundraiser, if a player runs out of scrip they
may make a donation to the organization, or re-buy, for additional
scrip. |
Throughout the
night, players will win and lose. About 15 minutes before the Casino
closes, the tables will close to allow players to bring their chips
to the tables for tallying or for raffle tickets.
Many times,
Casino organizers would like to find the biggest winner of the evening,
the person with the most chips, to award a prize. However, a high
tally encourages some players to pool their chips, causing the player
with the actual highest total to lose. At a fundraiser this will
keep people from redonating once they realize that they don't have
enough to win.
Some opt for
an auction based on the number of Casino points. This has the same
difficulty that a high tally does.
| The preferred
method of awarding prizes is with raffle tickets. Then everyone
still has a chance at the great prizes. Raffles work best one
of two ways, depending on the number of Casino prizes you have
to award. 4S Casino4S Lets Play Party Casino uses a raffle ticket with two numbered halves.
If you have just a few raffle prizes, put all of the tickets
in a raffle drum. Announce the prize, draw a ticket, call the
number, find the winner and award the prize. That's all. If
you have several prizes, label separate fishbowls or other containers
with each prize. At cash-out time, players receive both halves
of the raffle ticket and may drop one half into the drawing
for the prize of their choice. |
